I Am Stronger Because of All I've Been Through

I'm new in the dating pool. I'm just getting out of a divorce, and beginning a new chapter.

I can say this...dating sucks! lol It's so nerve wracking! Just to find someone you can connect with, you have to go on a bunch of first dates. And, anyone who's dated knows how awkward first dates are. I am really looking forward to finding my last, first date.

I was talking to someone from a dating app I met. We were getting along great! Had everything in common, talked on the phone easily, etc. We had plans to meet today. So, I show up. I wait...and I wait. He never shows, never texts in response or anytime after. I don't know what happened. But it's so discouraging :(

I'm not going to give up! But, when these kind of situations come up...it's hard not to want to.
