Wishing you all the best. It’s a pity since there’s love still and clearly friendship. Marriage isn’t easy and you’re still young. You have lots of time to grow as does your wife. Consider that divorce isn’t always the best solution to marital problems. Moving next door and not sharing the same house may also work and so, it may not be necessary for a full out divorce..

Best of luck to you in your quest. May you find love eventually with someone you can make happy. Your plan to stay close to your children is a good one. When my parents got divorced, under pressure from my mother, my father moved 3000 miles away from me. It caused me a lot of distress. Children do need their dads around. I was bullied in school by a girl who knew how to fight. Her older brothers taught her. But I had no man or brother to teach me to fight so I got beat up every morning for 3 years. Also, a girl learns she is worthy and attractive as a female partly from having a dad around to reflect that to her. Boys learn how to be men from their fathers.
