It shows how much love you have.

Then I reflect on how the choices I made that got me here were motivated by my moral decisions. Faced with absolute social and economic rejection, I still chose to do the right thing. I know what I am, I know where I stand, and I approve. While it sounds incredibly egotistical to say "I admire myself", it's less a matter of admiring what you are and more one of being what you admire. The world doesn't like me? A pity. But I like me, and the support of someone you look up to is more buoying than you'd imagine- even if you ARE that someone. Not there yet? Find what you DO respect, and build yourself towards it.

Lonely doesn't have to mean sad.

That's me pretty much every night since we had to put my wife into a memory-care unit.

It's even worse than that.

I don't.
I am thankful for what I have.

Woke up and realized I would die alone probably out in the desert somewhere. Laughed and went back to sleep not giving a shit.
