@chrisCA TBH, America needs the kind of reconstruction that the South was supposed to have after slavery. We should teach students about the Republicans the same way we teach about the Axis Powers.
One of the major reasons America is where it is now, is that liberal institutions are filled with people who are scared to death of being accused of bias. As if the fascist Republicans aren't going to do that to anyone who steps out of line.
But it's too late. America is at that point now where MAGA needs to run its course. I just hope that when it's over, we have people in charge who are actually anti-fascist, as opposed to the current liberal strategy of relying on norms.
