Has anyone been to Washington state or live there?

I'm moving to washington state in a 8 months or a year. I'm all the way in Florida so it's a huge change. I mean it's not like it's a different country but still over 3,000 Miles. Longest I've gone. I won't be near any family even though I havent seen them in years even though they live an hour away from me.
I just want to get excited for this move but I'm scared...

You can say goodbye to hurricanes and hello to ice storms. Summer time in the pacific northwest is amazing. Long long days, no humidity, no rain.

@Itsjustbrit Seattle and near the ocean is great but expensive. It’s very rainy here and can be cold in the winter… much colder than Florida. You’ll definitely need a rain jacket that you will wear 6-8 months per year. A nice winter coat for January and February but the temperatures near the coast are rarely below freezing. 5-12 Celsius is typical during the coldest months. It’s also not as warm in summer. 23-25 in but can go as high as 30.
