Not leaving as soon as I heard my mother was hospitalized. We all knew her time was near but she had had these incidents several times before, and I left a little later and got to her 10 minutes after she died. I should have been there for her and I will always be heart broken that I was not there for her. That didn't stop her from leaving me a laundry list of things that she thought I needed to improve upon and watch out for. But ultimately I will always have that regret.
