How often do you have nightmares?

I know it's so hard, it can disturb you all day...

Have you noticed when you have the nightmares? Like later in your sleep?

I'm trying to get to the bottom of mine too.

@ScreamingFox these have only just started. I think it's after reliving a situation that's triggered them.
I'm trying not to let this affect my day but it's upsetting to have a nightmare.

This nightmare happened after my last wake up. So I have disturbed sleep since having my son. Last night I woke up 3 times 12.45am. 2am then again at 4.59am.
As terrifying as they are, remember nightmares are not real. They can take on a sense and feel of being real, but they're not. That said, I'm sorry you're having them.

@onrealityofdreams thank you for your words. You always seem to find a way to word things beautifully.

I will try and maintain that thought- it's not real and hope this is the last of them.
@Mellowgirl You're welcome and thank you for your kind words.
If these nightmares continue, I suggest writing them down, recalling every detail you can. Sometimes this works as an outlet, a way to get whatever's inside your mind and conscious out.
