Nightmare or something else… 😱

Ugh, So I just had a nightmare where I was in bed on my phone and I’m watching tv. And the screen turns dark during a commercial or idk, and I see the silhouette of a head on my tv screen!! 😰I get deep chills and I turn around and I see a man staring at me!! He kinda looked like that bat monster guy from Jeepers creepers 😱 I wake up in a cold sweat and I turn around to face my window and my window is open… but I can’t remember if I left it open or if it was closed… 😱

Dreams can play tricks for sure. One November afternoon many years ago I took a nap around 4 that afternoon. A tenant I rented a room to had just left. I remembered sometime after laying down in my bedroom hearing a knock on my bedroom door. I roll over and look and I see some kid peering at me and said "Sorry, wrong house!". I was groggy but got up and looked around. Nobody anywhere inside the house, nor up/down the street outside. But the front door was open and so was the door to the garage. To this day I don't know if what I saw was in a dream or not, nor do I know for certain if the doors in my house were left open or not. Kinda freaky when these things happen, for sure! :)

On a side note, "scary" movies never scare me. However, your mentioned Jeepers Creepers. That movie freaked me out lol! If ever a movie would give me nightmares as an adult, it would be Jeepers Creepers.

The thing is, it was kinda cold that night, so it doesn’t make sense for me to have the window open but I honestly can’t remember if I opened it or that Jeepers Creepers bat thing opened it 😰 lol

@SW-User Along the lines of my experience I shared... in the Spring of the following year there was a story in the San Jose Mercury News about a series of daytime cat burglaries being conducted by people who appeared to be teens. They had been striking within a quarter mile of where my house was located. So that made me wonder even more if what I observed was real or not. I'll never forget that experience. I now live rurally, and it's never bothered me because I can defend myself if need be. Still, like in your case, it can be a disconcerting experience.

@SW-User Well, I suppose if we're supposed to know what really happen we'll find out. I'd not worry too much about it. Probably was just a dream you had given the appearance of the character you saw. Interesting to share though. You never know who else might have experienced something similar. Isn't the Internet a wonderful thing lol.
