He can't hurt me physically anymore but is still doing it in my head [I Have Ptsd Nightmares And Flashbacks]

I hate that dreams are where I am the most vulnerable to it flooding back but it feels much worse.
How he got in my head so deeply that even when he is in prison he's still there free to keep abusing me using me touching me.
I think I have to accept I won't be sleeping alone for a long time.
