When growing up The Beatles NOW however, The Stones!

The Beatles were pioneers: hardly bubble gum after the first few years. They later did try to prove that they could actually rock- with songs like Helter Skelter.
Well, I was your age back then and admittedly a bit snotty. lol...BTW, years later I did become a pretty big George Harrison fan, so I guess I can amend my original opinion, you got me thinking about it.🐵
I was a little young for the Beatles, but for me, it was definitely the Stones.

The Beatles - Hey Jude (1968)
Have to admit, this was a great song.
@Coyotedave611: 👍
Beatles. And early Beatles. I remember crying when my father told me they lived in another land. He might as well have said they were on the moon.

Well as someone said, they were the original "boy band" and you were, well, "that" age. *hugs*

To say that the Beatles were bubblegum is possibly the stupidest thing I have ever read in my entire life. Lol. where oh where is the facepalm icon when you need it most?😄
stones.. beatles are hippies
Well I was an "Acid head" back then doing the whole "hippy" thing, still loved the Stones, (Also Janis, and Sly Stone)

The Beatles were a much better band although the stones release some great stuff in the 60s and early 70s. Don't listen to that cunt from Australia. He'sa bit clueless.😄
