I enjoy occasional solitude

Looking at the list of lonely people, all ages and nationalities and both gender, it is so diverse.

I am in my later years, looking to share some time and wisdom, but with whom?

It would be nice to find a friend, anywhere.

I am married but, strangely, sometimes feel lonely although I also often enjoy a bit of solitude.
A few days away from the wife now and then is pure bliss 😁

@PhlipipUK I can relate to your comment, and living in the countryside offers me many "escapes". But at this time in our lives, loyalty becomes a way of life, and I am glad to come home to my partner. She makes something out of nothing (sometimes good and sometimes not so good), and I am happy to wake up with her by my side.

@Uncfred An update . . . . . My partner died 13 Feb 2023, and with her went my will to continue with life.
