Loneliness my fate

No place to go, no one to call, I sit and stare at the shadows on the wall, People I’ve known, places I’ve been, Names come and go, they swirl in the wind. No one calls nor even comes near, This place of loneliness, I’ve come to fear. It’s silence is numbing, my ears near deaf, To leave means only certain death. I count the minutes as the hours pass by, Wrestling with reason of how and why, How I got here or why I remain, Tis beyond my understanding, With only myself to blame. The walls are high and thickness great, As one in a dungeon can I only relate. If one would call then they would know, It’s this loneliness that drowns my soul. As I sit and as I wait, Loneliness grows and it’s weight is great. The clock is spinning, it’s now too late, To escape this path that seems to be my fate.

A good poem. Try formatting it like mine. How it sings better. Remember? In poetry format, not story.

And loneliness is only your fate should you choose it. I call bullshit. What are you doing to learn, to grow, to evolve? While you are doing that, she may find you. All this lamentation only goes so far. Move it.

Workday for me. Next two off. Will reply to your pm then. * pushes you toward the door* Go out into that wonderful world. Out there is where she is!
