You know what's hard about deleting your account after you've been on here for a while?

Knowing that there are all these people, right at your fingertips. And it's impossible to have that many people constantly around you. And you feel lonely in your normal life where there's like 6 people max, around you all the time. And it's not enough. So you crave that "world at your fingertips". But it's not real life. We fool ourselves into feeling less lonely by reading words on a screen.

And that's my deep thought for the day.

it does definitely provide interaction when the real world fails to do so. and when ya get tired of em, you can just logoff.

@YourMomsSecretCrush yeah but don't you think social media has made us lazy in that regard? Part of being human is dealing with boredom, relational ups and downs. You can't just log off of real life, and for better or worse, at least it's real, ya know? Just sharing some thoughts.
