I Battle Loneliness

Loneliness hurts really bad, why is it so difficult to make a friend?

I have the same problem. There are people everywhere...But a true long time friend is special. As I've gotten older, friends have died or moved far away. It takes time to get to know someone and to become a close friend. These last two years have been a very lonely time in my life. Sometimes there are special problems that arise, and I've been in a community which I've come to realize is not a good match for me. I am now saving money to move to what I hope will be a friendlier place. Meanwhile, it's tough. Today I found myself thinking about a close friend who died over 20 years ago. I really miss him and wish he were here with me today because I could really use his advice about my current situation. What can I say? Friends are precious. I hope we can both find some new friends one of these days.

@greenmountaingal Forging a genuine soul bond is extremely difficult, but it's something that is worth to fight for.
