I live alone and like it

Lots of people told me when my kids moved out that I would be sad living alone.

WRONG

I absolutely love it.
I love my kids too, of course, but I like living alone. I am comfortable with myself. I am at peace with myself. I like my own company. I hate it that people told me I would be so sad and alone. Project much?

Many people are afraid to be alone. I find it delightful most of the time. I have a kiddo so I when I do have time to myself I relish it. I still get lonely sometimes, but I snap out of it
