If there's a manual in life for puberty, would you have read it?

I'm considering actually writing a book about life struggles and lessons I got growing up, especially the part in highschool.

It felt awkward at the time, like I was trying to find a place for myself, be part of a circle that I didn't even know if I wanted for the rest of my life.

Life and time bring perspective. Still, if someone were to tell the younger version of me some things, I wonder... I wonder.

I think it’s probably something that young girls would need more than boys. I found puberty very straightforward and not at all awkward. I did realize quickly that if I didn’t shower everyday or twice a day that I would really smell. That was about the only adjustment I remember from puberty.
