I'd say many young and older girls too have to withstand a lot of nonsense in many different forms, like harassment being the major one. And then there is bias, hatred, molestation, all sorts of things they go through.
I do not think anyone has an easy going life, unless they're void of all emotion.

That said, i for one do not favour anyone based on looks alone. That just does not work for me. I like the mind.
