Would you still talk to someone you knew for years already after they told you that you were just someone to them?

After telling you quite some stuff about their life, but you just weren't available for dating or such.
Do you mean just a friend to you or an acquaintance? If so yes I am fine being friendzoned

@SlippingAway since she's a saleswoman and I used to go get my groceries where she works, she sometimes gave me advice on what healthy food to eat to lose weight (back when I was a college student). But shortly after I graduated, she suddenly told me she wanted to have kids. Then months after I finally found a job, she told me she had a boyfriend for already 5 months. I avoided her for about 3 months and she was single again by then. But half a year later she told me that she had a new boyfriend and that I was just someone to her. She did agree to the chance of still meeting up some time (we had never done so before. That was when she told me of her first boyfriend. Mind you, that was 6 weeks before quitting with him. When telling me of her second one, she said her "current boyfriend" wouldn't be fine with that. I just don't get how she'd just leave the past behind.

Depends, if I enjoy talking to them then sure.

@SW-User and if they always told you when they had a new partner although you used to be interested in them?

@scooogy Then that person isn't good for me. I don't need them in my life.
