What was your mother most afraid of? And how about you in comparison?

My mother is a God fearing person and she is scared of doing anything wrong to not get punished by the Lord.

I'm not bothered about any shit. I'm scared of my mother and I don't want to hurt her. That's the only difference.

@Stilltryinghard Affection can cause fear. It causes the fear of losing and the fear of hurting someone. I love my mother and I wouldn't do anything to hurt her.

Unintentionally at times I do but I do my best to avoid it.

Water. We were never sent for swimming classes because [i]she[/i] was hydrophobic and my dad didn't just care. I don't think I'm afraid of water though. But then I haven't spent enough time around deep water bodies to claim that with utter certainty.

Well, seeing as how I grew up in the inner city she was afraid of losing her kids to the streets. As for myself, I sometimes worry about my kids getting into heinous things like drugs or drinking.
