I Believe Life Is a Life Long Lesson
[b][c=#7700B2]Beauty and Brains: A Simple Morality Story[/c][/b]
OK, here's one told to me by one of my best friend's who is a Rabbi (female one at that!) :
Morty is looking really glum. His friend Saul asks him what's wrong, how can he help?
Morty: Well ya see Saul, I'm 35 now and if I'm going to inherit my dad's business I gotta get married. And the clincher is she can't just be pretty she's gotta have brains! I got really stressed out and so I procrastinated and now I have only 2 weeks to find someone to marry. I told my mom about my predicament and she set me up with a Yenta, you know a matchmaker.
Saul: Sounds cool, so did she fix ya up with anyone?
Morty: Yeah, 3 candidates all under 30 years old and from their pictures they are all pretty. I meet 'em next week.
Saul: Tell me what happened when you're done!
[b]*A week passes and Morty and Saul are having lunch*[/b]
Saul: So, Morty did ya meet 'em? Did ya like one enough to marry?
Morty: Yeah, I thought it would be tougher than I thought.
Saul: What were they like?
Morty: First one was a brain surgeon who got her MD when she was 16 years old. She's a chess master like me and so we played a game. She was amazing.
Second one was a businesswoman whose company had a billion dollars in sales last year and she's now in the Fortune 500. She's in the tech biz which is a perfect match for my company which is going global next year.
Third one is also amazing. She has the soul of an angel. She writes children's books that inspire them to follow their dreams and fulfill their highest potential. She's everything a guy could want to be the mother of his children.
Saul: *Smacks his forehead with his hand* Oy Veh, I could never make up my mind ... these women are all so wonderful.
Morty nods.
Saul: Don't keep me in suspense ... which one did you choose?
Morty: The one with the biggest knockers!
