I Have Had An Hallucination
One time in high school I was quite sleep deprived because I hadn't managed my time very well. I got home and hit the books for tomorrows exam. After about two hours of study, I was exhausted and went to bed. Snoozed for an hour or so. I kept my eyes shut as I started to wake back up.
As my eyes were closed, I remembered a time when I was younger and had been lying in bed half asleep when a large huntsman crawled right by my face on the wall, and what had happened only registered in my brain about ten seconds later.
My eyes were still closed as I was remembering this, and suddenly I though 'surely not, There wont be a spider when I open my eyes'. I opened my eyes. To my shock/amazement, up on the wall was perched a spider about the size of my palm. If I described fully what it looked like, this story would be twice as long, so to put things simply, it appeared to be made of smoky glass and it had a stubby tail, unlike any spider I had ever seen. I froze upon seeing it, it was somehow intimidating, and I remained laying on my bed. Eventually, it began to crawl up my wall with very life-like spider movement, its tail swished and grew to about 15cm long, with a barbed tip too. Then it just faded out of existence, right before my eyes. A minute later, I cautiously touched the area where it was (cautiously; I wasn't sure if it was real). I shrugged and went back to sleep.
