Set Yourself Up For Life: The Key to A Great Future

Many quietly struggle with discouragement, regret, dependence, fear, or from feeling unseen. I know I was never encouraged as a child but here's one important truth I learned from life, as I made my own way:

Choose just one thing. Learn just one skill, train just that one time. Give it your very best, and you'll be set for life. Your struggle will end, as far as the security of maintaining a career and a life that is stable.

Learn from the world's famous boxer, Muhammad Ali. I bet you didn't know that he hated more than anything, to train for his profession; but what he did was tell himself that 'as much as I hate training, I'll do this one thing, just one time, and to the best of my ability, and then I'll never have to do it again!' That's what made him so successful. He took his own advice. That's all it takes. What a smart man!! Do it just once, but do it right, giving it all you've got, and you'll build a secure foundation that will carry you through life.

Nothing says people have to depend on someone else for happiness. Having your own career, is what's key to your survival and happiness; never having to depend on any one for any thing. Then, if you get left behind for any reason, you'll still have your skills to fall back on, and still remain sucure. Never let anyone hold you back or try to dominate you. The minute you do that, you'll lose yourself.

Happiness is not found. That's an illusion. Happiness is created by choice. You come first. Don't be fooled into thinking there will always be someone in your life you can depend on. If you surrender your independence and freedom, somebody will take care of you alright, but you might not like it! Life will give you its best, when you give it your best.

Put in maximum effort just once, and you'll achieve long-term security, success, and freedom. Use momentum from this one-time effort to create lasting, compounding value. Do not aim for just "good enough"...just "getting by." Aim for exceptionally high-value accomplishment.

Remove all distractions. Dedicate 100% of your energy, focus, and resources to this one thing. Never just "settle." Make your life and efforts memorable. Make them count. Your reward will be well worth it. You will find that perseverance yields great rewards, much needed self-respect, more confidence, and rich self-worth. It's not about impressing or approval from others; it's about showing up for yourself that fills that longing for achievement.

Don't waste that gift God gave you...You still have value. Build your life. Don’t disappear inside someone else. Don’t abandon your identity; believe your life still matters. Because it does.

Aye Aye Ma'am. I am yet to give it my best shot yet. I believe in marathon and will get it done somehow, anyhow. But before that, I will always remember God comes first, Before anything. His will be done on us.

@DanielsASJ Slow, but sure, like the turtle. 🤭 Steady he goes hahaha Just so you give it your best, when you do. That's what counts.

But I love that one part...God does come first. That's wisdom.
