I hated mums hair brush

I hated the sting and being sore after but i understood why she did this more now as an adult with 4 kids. I do miss them sometimes but at my age i dont think it will happen again

I think it was more common for girls to get the hairbrush. I know my wife got it a lot more than my sisters and I did.

@NortiusMaximus I don't think it's more common for girls than for boys. If anything it's the other way round.

@NortiusMaximus my three girl cousins got the hairbrush from their mum, she occasionally used it on me. I was very glad that I got the slipper not the hairbrush from my parents.
