Growing up
It's so strange watching my daughter become a full fledged grown up. She's been spending this break from college clearing out & organizing her room at home because she say's it's going to be the new guest room in our house. She is correct, of course, as one of my siblings has moved into my house and is in what used to be our old guest room. My girl is putting a great deal of her childhood into bags & boxes, deciding what is really of sentimental value vs. old crap that's been forgotten about. I'm having to do my own adjustment to her newest phase of life. I had being a daddy to a child down fairly well, even given the curveballs life keeps throwing at us but this is making me a little sad. My little girl is becoming my little girl who is an adult.
