What exactly is growing up?

@SW-User Still figured it out myself. Kinda weird when your siblings treat you like you're one-part grown another part not.

There's a specific way to grow up don'tcha know?

@SW-User I have come to find my brain and hands do not coordinate any longer. I type coherent sentences with the wrong tenses/words 😒

I'm not sure I understand growing up. Not sure I want to.

@Rokasu I'm sure we are all doing it fine. Or some big boulder would fall on our head or something equally significant would let us know different.

@SW-User Maybe. Feels like there's some merit to looking through a different lens. The price of that though... It's exhausting just thinking about it.

I spose if the change is to reduce internal strife then it's worthwhile. But what if the change is just a different color of strife?

@Rokasu what if...you choose to walk away from all the colours of strife and walk towards finding the authentic you? Shedding all the layers of who we aren't but had to be for survival and fitting in didn't work in making us content.... maybe authenticity will. 🙃

@SW-User I feel I'm pretty authentic honestly, and that's part of the problem. I'm not wearing enough layers but I've been acquainting masks with deception. And I'm not fond of deception or manipulation.

Lol I say that and plenty of folk here would tell you elsewise. I'm just one big fake a-hole.
