Beware of bamboo canes. They can shatter and caused serious slicing injuries. I definitely second TB's comment "Double OUCH!"

no, if you do it right and careful then it will not break the Skin

it is a punishment tool not something to be cruel or brutal

@Helen69 Excellent point. An inaccurate or excessively repetitively targeted cane stroke can do serious damage to the skin or underlying tissue, even to thinly insulated bones. Recipients should not be distracted from reflection on their behavior by having to worry about the competence of the person using the cane. Inexperienced caners should not be spanking with the cane.
