I Had A Strict Mother Growing Up

My mom is still strict. I have gotten in trouble with her many times even as an adult. I tried to avoid punishment, but then she just was mad for a long time. I find it best to accept my punishment from her so she will forgive me

My mom is a grudge holder. She can be mad about something for a very long time. She will remember it forever, and use it as a weapon when the opportunity arises years later.
As far as I know, there have been no spankings or other such punishments to any of us (now adult) kids in many years.
