Everything Ends

I purge the thoughts
I throw out my heart
I close my soul
And I guess that’s just the start

I shut it all down
I let the waves all come
I sink under and drown
I’ll smile like it’s fun

I watched the sun rise
Saw it fly across the sky
I watch it set past the horizon
With no tears left to cry
