Starting to think the path to enlightenment ends with disappointment.

And all that really matters is living your life, caring and loving so genuinely that it doesn't matter how cruel life can be, you lived it to the fullest.

I read this book a few years ago...the author was detained in a Nazi Concentration camp and somehow managed to trick himself to remain hopeful.

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is that the primary human drive is not pleasure or power, but the search for meaning. Frankl asserts that even in the face of unimaginable suffering, we always retain the ultimate freedom to choose our attitude and find purpose.

If you feel your life has no meaning - he asserts that the first step is to move toward finding meaning, and that in itself gives your life new meaning as you start this new journey...

@Turtlepower Yup.

Screw the "I don't care, it's all about me" people/life.

Just live how you want, harm none

100% thats kind of what I came to after searching. It got to a point it I figured we all die and will be hit with the truth of it so why waste the limited time. Just be kind and createsome beauty i the meantime.

@MethDozer yeah there's nothing to achieve that sets us apart or changes the course we're all on. Just live. Enjoy.
