An ex boyfriend of mine ( we were very serious ) and happy then there was a sudden end .
We are British I’ve recently moved to Germany . I was very surprised when I saw him but he came to visit me apparently.
He said this looking into my eyes and holding my hand
“ the woman I loved is dead but you are what’s left of her … I would like to give our relationship another go and re discover it’s dynamic as we explore these new versions of ourselves .

I found it chuckle 🤭 worthy but I only waited until after to do so .
