anyone want to help me dream about starting like a commune to help battle homelessness

i was thinking about it lol. id rather live in my own house with a a big fence. but i thought still a worthy use of brain power to think about what it would take to start a commune to help battle homelessness.

youd need: land, dwellings, water, air conditioning lol, a food source... what else?
acceptable toilets in the dwellings. electricity would be nice

i am trying that now.. kansas . i bought a old building and 5 lots . it was a old church that was converted into apt.. this is not easy . so got fruit trees and working on rebuilding the plumbing .. now the hard part is the roof is falling in.. its a bit much for a old man. so if ya going to do it .. dont wait and get started now..
