Walking on water
There alone in my dreams
Searching for answers
Can't tell what it means
Too many reasons
Too easy to find
As you walk on the waters
There in my mind
Alone in the dark now
On the edge of my bed
Too many memories
That fill me with dread
Spent some time thinking
I'd be better off dead
As you walk on the waters
With the last words that you said
The years go on passing
And I'm here doing time
With everyone asking
And I say that I'm fine
But there in my dreams
You're alive in my mind
Visions that fade
When I wake up each time
Just walking on water
As I watch in the night
Watching you fade
As you walk out of sight
Hoping for happy
But nothing seems right
Since the day that you left
Each days been a fight
Now I'm walking on water
Trying to see
With my feet slowly sinking
As I drown in the sea
Washing me under
Got nowhere to be
But to rest at the bottom
And hope you find me
