I At Least Want To Make One Of My Dreams Reality

As a hispanic girl in a hispanic community living in America, I've always really wanted to experience that "American dream" and often wished I was born white into a white, wealthy family somewhere in New England where eveything seems so sophisticated, clean, and prestigious. I always hated speaking Spanish but I had to learn in order to communicate with the non-English speaking elders in my family. I used be jealous of white children on tv shows and movies as kid because their families seemed so nice and they had so many opportunites and wore expensive clothes from expensive stores, not used clothes from flea markets or cheap clothes from warehouses. My dream is to become wealthy and find a high paying job in law or goverment and live somewhere in New England. Since I couldn't have the childhood I wanted my goal is to provide that ideal childhood full of opportunites for my future children.
