I always heard that the phone rang and a mysterious voice said, "I'm the Viper. I'm coming on Friday." When the Viper shows, it's the window wiper, with a lisp. Hilarious. Loved it.

@Trav2024 I thought I remembered that he was coming on “Vednesday”. But then that would probably give away the surprise that it was a guy with a lisp.
