why do they show disturbing ads on tv now, they never used to in the 80s

[c=005E2F][i]just before i saw an ad on tv which was saying 'thousands every year in the uk, start to lose their sight'......i didn't want to watch the rest so i changed to another channel....but i felt very annoyed with the ad and tv in general, why is tv soo shit now and why do they show these worrying/disturbing ads now when they never used to?


i felt worried seeing that sight ad, as i deal with anxiety in general and can get anxious about everything...i have general anxiety disorder...and a couple of years back i had a scare with my eyes until i went to the eye hospital and they told me i was okay..


anyhow how do you deal with it when you see these ads they show now about losing sight etc?[/i][/c]
