How will an obvious lie make you a better person to get to know? It's like someone who says they're bored! Why would you want to know someone who as they're talking with you they say they're bored? It's like a lie! They're looking for a response to find an angle for something!

Understanding how someone might hurt you, using lies, is important. It is not at all necessary. It’s just important if you believe in knowing all of human nature as it is. Boring is real to. What some people perceive as boring, says something about the person.
