Liar, liar pants on fire...what is usually your first clue that someone is lying to you?

I asked a lead at work about a rumor that someone (a supervisor) was quitting, and she immediately pressed her lips together and kept shaking her head no, exaggerated actually. And I thought to myself "Yes the supervisor is quitting"....and sure enough she did, that lead was told to keep her mouth shut and she did it in an almost comical way.
