Liar, liar pants on fire...what is usually your first clue that someone is lying to you?

Seems like people have different styles of lying...I need to know that person has lied and then watch how they talk, if they are nervous, if they use certain body language, etc. Some people try to be smooth and they'll talk really calmly and quietly when they are lying, but some will sound all enthusiastic to cover their lies, and others will have a fake smile on their face or evade eye contact.
