I Hate Being Lied to

@Invocations sure, as a kid, the first time we tell a lie is to cover up something that we know will bring punishment if found out. it starts there.

@Sapio It’s commendable. I try, but sometimes I feel like I have to protect my feelings like a porcupine. And the lies I tell myself piss me off. And the crazy part? Most of those are when I’m being nice to myself. Like I believe that I’m improving or am good or whatever, then a voice says you're so stupid, ugly etc ...then I wonder which voice is the truth. Maybe both.
