I Hate Being Lied to

Tell me why parents don't like you to lie to them but it's alright for them to lie to you 😟 . mom said I could stay the weekend with my best friend David ,then she said no , I went anyways ,she lied last weekend and I didn't get to go ,all I gets to do is work in the yard and garden and school . I need time aways from her to hehe:) I probably going to get grounded but it was worth it 😀 we had lot of fun , mom needs learn how to keep her word and not be lying to me ,I try not to lie to her ,sometimes I just don't answer her questions hehe:) why do people have double standards

Your right she shouldn't lie to you, did she give a reason why, maybe it was she forgot what she had said , your doing good by trying not to lie to her, could be your settings the example for her to see, I know it will build up trust in her, that later on she won't have to ask you about every detail of where you go. You hang in there son,
Try asking her if she forgot what she told you,
