I M Worried About My Brother-in-law
For those of you that haven't been following the sad tale of my wife's brother, he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia several weeks ago, and spent several weeks on life support, and being given huge doses of chemotherapy
He made some good progression with his treatment, and even managed to come home for a few weeks...
About a month ago, he was re-admitted to receive more chemotherapy..
During his stay, in st Bartholomew's hospital in London, he has developed a chest infection, not unlike pneumonia...
He's been put back into intensive care ward...and is currently being sedated, and being given help with his breathing...
He is also receiving large amounts of antibiotics..
On the plus side, we have been informed, that at the moment, his bloods are clear of leukaemia...so he is in remission....
My wife and I are travelling up to London tomorrow (Saturday) to go visit...
Lets pray he makes a quick recovery from this latest set-back....
