I Was Shocked By The Murder Of Skylar Neese
They Say Looks Can Be Deceiving...
I heard about this case back in 2012 when it first happened, but I didn't know much about the details. It was basically about a pretty 16 year old girl named Skylar Neese who went missing.

First, they suspected she ran away. Then they suspected she was abducted. As the months rolled by, her two best friends, Shelia Eddy & Rachel Shoaf, were under close scrutiny.

Everybody was suspecting that either the two knew something & were covering for Skylar who ran away or that they both had something to do with Skylar's disappearance. They were the last two people to have seen Skylar alive, after all.
According to Shelia Eddy, the three girls had gone for a joy ride at midnight, but they dropped Skylar off a few blocks away from her apartment when they returned because Skylar didn't want the car to wake up her parents. And that was the last they had seen of her.
Apparently, that wasn't the truth.
Despite the ensuing evidence that Shelia & Rachel were not telling the truth, I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that they could have very well had something to do with Skylar's disappearance. Why? Because of this:

Well, I guess evil comes in many different forms, right? This time it took the form of two very pretty, silly & happy teenage girls who look & acted as normal as any other 16 year old girls. Who would have thought something foul was brewing underneath the surface of two young & charismatic girls who appeared to have a bright future ahead of them?
I guess it's just another example of how you shouldn't ever trust anyone completely. Anybody could turn on you in the most vile & unpredictable of ways, even your childhood best friends. And there doesn't always have to be a reason. Even sociopaths could be Oscar award winning actors & actresses because apparently that's all Shelia Eddy & Rachel Shoaf were. And your friends, the ones you think you know so well, could be too.
