Well that certainly makes her sudden disappearance a lot harder.
However it does not change the fact that people, their interests and their livestyles and ways of using their time can change really much - especially if they're teens.
I wish it does not happen to you two but I just wanted to say it because I have seen it happen so many times before and I hate to see people getting hurt because of stuff like that. I'm sorry about being my pessimistic myself...
