@Gangstress So, she had an accident in high school where she was riding a horse and the saddle slipped. It flipped her under the horse and she was bounced on the ground hard enough that it cracked her helmet and gave her amnesia for 24 hours. Her parents never got it fully checked out after that and I think it's a large contributor.

She's also not in the best shape and isn't interested in exercising to make it better so I think that's also part of the issue.

I've tried talking to her about it but she's unfortunately super defensive because of her mother always being in her business growing up and I don't handle defensive well because of growing up with MY mother.

Just not sure what to do at this point. 😅

There's no easy answer but youve been yearning for while. Youve done well to stick it out as well which is lovely for her. But i think at some point you need to look after yourself as well , it will be selfish but also not at the same time.
You gotta do you at some point x

So many decisions to make and I think I'm just overwhelmed by it all. Especially with my health acting up again as of late, it's just so much to deal with.
