a childhood dog
is my feeling now and forever.
my loyalty is used,
and my leader shuts me up,
tells me to keep my mouth shut.
so i listen, or course
because thats what a childhood dog does.
i sit and watch you,
from my tiny spot which i outgrew.
wish there was space for me with you
but if i ever came near
you would snap and just add,
in a tone that i flinch at:
"get out of here"
