I Feel Alone

I have given up proving myself, in like manner, I have given up being apologetic for who I am. I am so much happier and healthier than ever.

I learned that in silence we can hear ourselves and others. In blindness we begin witnessing rather than seeing.

Life became easier when I learnt to accept an apology I never got.

I stopped drinking coffee. Caffeine free for months. I've been sleeping a lot since I discovered that lighting a scented candle when you go to sleep is a very effective sleep inducer.

I don't want to feel bad because when you feel bad, you wind up wanting to do things to make others feel bad. But when you feel good, you want to do things that make others feel happy.

I love places that make you realize how tiny you and your problems are.

I don't know what I should pray for me, but the spirit himself makes intercessions with groaning, which cannot be uttered.

I am strong but I am tired.

Anything that costs my peace is too expensive.

I busy me focussing on people who inspire me, not who annoy me. Sometimes all we need is someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared about.

Today I live in the moment. Unless it's unpleasant, in which case I eat a cupcake. It's my bday.馃槉

Is that the Grand Canyon? I was there in May. That spot looks familiar.

I searched through my vacation photos and found one that was taken very close to where yours was. I compared the two photos and found similar features.

Here is your photo (I did not copy it, I just used the hyperlink):

Here is my photo for comparison:

If you look across the valley at the far wall, there is a diagonal line going down. That is a trail. I think it is the one I walked on the following day! Here I am the next day on that trail:

Small world!

@JoyfulSilence Yep.馃槉. It's the North Rim. Apparently, we took the same view, only we stood at different sites. It's a humbling experience, isn't it?

@SW-User Yes, Mather Point, I think.

It was humbling and awe inspiring and spectacular! I loved it!
