Were you ever reprimanded for not standing for the pledge? (Or other national equivalent)

Better worded question than the last since I don't think many teachers would be hat stupid to force you to and risk losing their jobs or get in trouble. But that depends on the time and place.

I heard that one of my high school teachers did to another student, but she was also a military wife whose husband was deployed at the time and she was raising three kids alone so I don't really blame her for snapping, especially after the student was being a smart ass about it.
