Do you share the experience of a very strict upbringing?

As a kid I was very shy and would have been embarrassed if my mates had known about the spankings I got at home (what a secret! we all boys got CPs 😀). Later, in my teens, I dared to discuss now and then with my close friends the subject. Anyway, I grew up in a time when CPs were considered the norm, so I got it at home and at school alike. Not in an abusive manner, but always for serious offences and well-deserved.

Of course to get a spanking is humiliating, but what punishment is not so? During my primary and secondary school, CPs were inflicted in front of the class. The spanking rituals at home might seem also humiliating nowadays, but to bare a boy's bottom for a spanking was usual, and most of my mates and I got the belt bare-assed or even fully stripped.

I remember that paying a visit to some of my friends I saw the belt hanging in their rooms or in the entrance hall. Very embarrassing of course. At my home, thanks God, its place was in the closet, from where it was brought when the need was. I always was spanked in private at home, for sure I would have died of shame if one of my friend had witnessed my punishment (I witnessed some of my mates' belting however).

In my 20s I also became interested in others' experiences about the CPs they got and to offer more details in my turn.

Having again read Your story and a few of Your comments, I hope I can hear more from You through stories or private messages as You seem to have many insights to share.

My boys are still disciplined and wear short trousers. Mine are 12, 14, 17, +21.

Having just returned from a vacation in New Zealand, where many British customs are maintained(especially in Christchurch) i saw a number of schoolboys in uniforms, including short pants. It reminded me of some of Your comments on how doing so was part of a strict upbringing.
