Once I've Seen Her... Now I Don't... Chapter 1
[b]Based on a true story...[/b]
A Friday late afternoon... I walk down the road to my friend's place... 2 houses next to his she suddenly appears out of nowhere... wearing a body hugging red summer dress... long straight black hair, long legs, Asian eyes, a melodic voice calling out the name of her little brother... time stands still.
I have no control over my body and senses.. time stood still. Nothing else registers except what I behold a few feet away. I cannot help but stare... not even aware that she noticed me and was staring right back... what brought me back to my own body was the fact that.. she smiled at me.
Heart racing, legs weak, I break eye contact for a second then look back and she still smiles... then I feel a hard playful smack against my back and hear my friend asking in the distance when I arrived in town. All I can think about is asking him "Who is she? Is she new?" to which he replies "Yeah, just moved in last week. They are renting the place."... I need to know her name, is all I can think to myself.
As if reading my mind my friend says "Her name is Adrianna" and thereafter everything else he said was just back ground noise.
She broke eye contact, paying attention to her little brother and she takes him by hand and leads him to the door as he had to go inside. Once the door closed behind her I snapped back to reality... but still staring at the door she closed in hopes that it will open up again... but it does not.
Right then I made it my mission to get to know all about the girl who so instantly had my frozen in place by her mere presence... then made my heart race with a single smile... who paralyzed me with her stare...
Who appeared out of nowhere wearing that red dress. That image has been burned to my memory forever...
