how do you flirt with a man??? after being so hurt many many times.

its really hard to do that after being heart broken by someone you really loved deeply. this guy is nice and gentle. i can see it in his eyes. but.... we work together... so i really dont know what to do otherwise i would've been more blunt by now.

I could have written this myself, once you've opened yourself up and been hurt , it's extremely hard to allow yourself to be vulnerable again with anyone. For me flirting has always been a little difficult, but once I begin to realize that I might be falling for someone, I completely shut down. I wish I knew a way around it.
